HSC RECEIVES SIGNIFICANT sportscotland AWARD

In a major announcement on 14th September, an award of £80,000 was made to HSC to assist with the purchase of the ground used by the club, thereby transforming the opportunities to enhance and expand facilities with confidence for the future.

This award was one of 16 projects across Scotland which benefited from £2.4 Million of new investment and, for HSC, represents an exceptional boost to the club as it approaches its 75th birthday.

James Miller and the "Mayrise" team won the Sigma National Championships (included in Bangor Town Regatta) to add to their earlier victory in the Sigma 33 Class at Jura Scottish Series in Loch Fyne. Results here

Blaze Scottish Championship at HSC 11/12 July

Regatta Report here and congratulations to HSC's Ali Gray who was "1st Adult" overall, and to Mark Homer who was "1st Grand Master".


 POLARIS REGATTA at Holy Loch 12/13 September

The competitive Sonata Class was won by HSC's "Peshwa 4" helmed by Neil Rosie. They clocked FOUR bullets and discarded two seconds. Our Mark Taylor and Chris Tait finished 2nd and 3rd overall respectively in the Sonatas.

    • Bar open 16.45 until 18.30 (approx)
  • Mondays and Tuesdays:
    • Junior Training ending 15th September for the year. Starts next May.
  • Wednesdays:
    • Coffee morning - 10.30 to 12.00
    • East Patch keelboat racing ended 2nd Sept.
  • Thursdays:
    • Dinghy/Cat racing ended 27th August

  • Construction of "Toast Rack 3" now complete and becomes "Row T" - see updated layout diagram.
  • POLITE REMINDER: please park ONLY in your allocated space. If you can't find it, or if it is already occupied by another boat, contact the Dinghy Park Secretary. And please remember to cut the grass under your boat.
