JUNIOR NOVICES / INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED SAILING

                                                                                               

 

PLEASE NOTE ALL PLACES ARE NOW ALLOCATED FOR 2008

 

 

Junior Sail training will take place from week commencing Monday 28th April to w/c  Monday 23rd June and from w/c Monday 27th August to w/c 1st Sept 2008.

 

The course will cater for all levels of experience from complete novice to those who have the RYA Young Sailors Advanced Sailing (Red) award.  Activities will include novice training, upgrading of existing qualifications and fun & games whatever the weather.

 

This year we are going to separate the training over 2 nights and would confirm the training will take place on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

 

Training will start at 1745hrs and finish at 2000hrs daily. 

 

Mondays:  -  for more experienced sailors level 3 or above sailing their own toppers

 

Tuesdays:  -  beginners and up to level 3 in optimists, picos, some in their own toppers

                 

 

Parents of students under 12 on the 1st of March 2008 must have membership of HSC.  Children over 12 on 1st of March 2008 must take out Cadet Membership of HSC if their parents are not members.  Full membership details are available in the clubhouse or on request.

 

There is also an option for those more experienced sailors to join the club and take part in the Wednesday night and Sunday afternoon racing.  Wed evenings commenced on April 16th with racing starts from approx 7pm.  Sundays are starting from approx 1330.
