Muster News

Despite the weather HSC managed a successful bbq and muster at Swines hole Loch Goil on Saturday 2nd June.  The rain did nothing to dampen the fire raising skills of David Wilson as he produced  a fantastic bbq under the gazeboe erected by his able assistance Colin.

The rain then stopped and the breeze kept the midges at bay and the cheery gathering of 22,  aging from 7 months to well I wouldn't like to say - partied into the wee small hours.

Once the cooking was over fellow 'Potential Arsonists' Colin Clegg, Calum, Jack & Henry successfully set up 2 roaring camp fires to keep the participants warm outside and the fire water - kept them warm inside.

Despite the damp conditions on Sunday the hearty members of the Cove sailing club went ahead with their Ardentinny picnic all under canvas.  We were greeted on the shore by Pimms and Strawberries by the lovely Fiona Kilgore to prove despite the weather us sailors can still muster in style.

Thanks to the crews of Opus Two, Aliz Motte and  Oddessa  for coming along to join us for the weekend and we will soon set a date for another muster for later in season to give more people the chance to put it in their diaries.
